Le Bargamelle

We used Le Bargamelle for our daughter's baptism and first birthday. Everything was perfect, exactly as we had hoped, and it was private on a Sunday. We ate very well, and everyone was delighted. Thank you for everything; we recommend it without hesitation!

You have a great time at Bargamelle, and the manager always has a kind word! I highly recommend Bargamelle! A good time is guaranteed no matter the time of day ;)

We discovered the restaurant during a birthday celebration through their catering service. The products were fresh and high-quality, beautifully presented. There was a wide variety of savory and sweet flavors. The marinated meats were excellent!

Lunch on November 26, 2024: Second flawless test after a disappointing first experience (January 2023). It was perfect. The Bargamelle burger for him, andouillette sausage for her. Nothing to complain about: perfectly cooked, fresh fries. The same goes for the desserts, which were very good. The coffee is still not amazing, but we're making do. We were served quickly by staff who were as courageous, helpful, and kind as ever. When something isn't great, I write about it (January 2023). When something is very good, I gladly change the ratings (November 2024). Well done for your efforts and thank you for your work. We will gladly return. ****************************************** A small brasserie next to the Intermarché in Mehun-sur-Yèvre. The premises are very clean and the staff very welcoming. But a courageous and customer-friendly staff isn't enough to make a good brasserie. The food served is of poor quality. The fish and chips were badly overcooked: the fish was dried out, the potatoes were probably defrosted directly in the fryer, some were overcooked, others undercooked or barely cooked because they were stuck together. The veal Milanese had an overcooked breading and potatoes identical to those described above. The ice cream was tasteless: the vanilla had no flavor other than that of the freezer it came from. I didn't finish my dessert. The baked apple was the only saving grace because it was homemade... but then again, it's still just an apple baked in the oven. I didn't finish my coffee (a first!): it tasted burnt, probably due (after consulting a professional) to the professional machine not being cleaned properly. Price of fish and chips: €12, Price of veal Milanese: €15. €40 for two main courses, two desserts, a can of soda, and a coffee... Parisian prices. Given the poor quality of the food served, it was far too expensive. We will therefore avoid this place in the future.
