Café de l'horloge Mehun

A delightful surprise in Mehun: an inn on the edge of the old town with excellent cuisine and a touch of Nordic influence. The staff is very helpful and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The owner is present and attentive to his guests. Highly recommended.

We had booked a table at this restaurant, having already been twice, and I must say it's always a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Kudos to the owner who does an amazing job with the service, assisted by his two or three waiters. The terrace was completely full, but the service was impeccable. Kudos to his wife, the head chef; she's young but undeniably talented. The dishes are sophisticated, and the cooking of both fish and meat is masterful. We highly recommend and encourage you to discover "Café de l'Horloge". Jo & Pat

Passing through Mehun, we stopped for a cappuccino and a Perrier. We know this place because we've had a great lunch there before. We salute the young people who recently took over the business. The restaurant business is very challenging these days, dealing with a sometimes demanding clientele. Respect to all those places that strive to maintain good food and personal interaction (you have to take the time to connect with your customers). We wholeheartedly recommend this calm, simply decorated place where you feel right at home. Well done, and see you soon!

It's always a pleasure to visit Café de l'Horloge! The welcome is warm, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. A special mention to Flavien, who is always fantastic: welcoming, professional, and always smiling. It really makes a difference. I highly recommend it!
