We were just passing through Bourges and, on the recommendation of friends, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. The setting is pleasant, the restaurant is clean, parking is easy, and the terrace with its misting fans is very inviting. Upon arrival, everything suggested we were going to have a wonderful time. To treat ourselves, we ordered two veal chops with black garlic, the most expensive dish on the menu (€34). Black garlic being an interesting ingredient, we were curious to see what the chef had done with it. Then came... the "starter." After 20 minutes, we were patient. After 40 minutes, we were starting to think our veal might still be grazing. After 50 minutes, we were almost ready to go and help it out. Thankfully, a young waiter, Sébastien I think (sorry if I'm wrong), finally noticed our wait. Very professional, he apologized spontaneously, went to check in the kitchen, and came back to tell us our food was arriving. He was the only member of the team who genuinely cared about the situation, and that deserves to be highlighted. The plates finally arrived... Well... the veal chops arrived. The black garlic, it seems, must have been on vacation given the lovely weather we're having! The meat was good, the fries too, but where was this famous black garlic? We looked for it with every bite without ever really finding it. At €34, you expect a generous and well-prepared dish, not a gourmet version of "Where's Waldo?" When it came time to pay, we shared our disappointment. Sébastien apologized again with great professionalism, and the restaurant gave us a 10% discount. A welcome gesture. In the end, I remember a pleasant establishment, a truly dedicated and professional waiter, but unfortunately, the food that day didn't live up to the prices. This experience frustrated me so much that I decided to recreate the veal chop with black garlic at home a few days later. I should mention that I'm neither a chef nor a cook, simply a passionate amateur with no pretensions. And yet... for about €10 per person, I finally found what I had come to the restaurant for: a real veal chop enhanced by the black garlic. At least this experience had one merit: it inspired me to cook. And if you ever find the black garlic that escaped from my plate, tell it I don't hold it against it anymore... I finally found it in my own kitchen.

A lovely establishment, everything is perfect: the staff is very pleasant, the dishes are delicious, and the quality of the ingredients is excellent. A wonderful discovery in Bourges that makes you want to return.

Came for dinner for two. I ordered two courses in advance; waited 45 minutes; a very thinly sliced ​​ribeye steak (€26) was served medium-rare when I ordered it rare; cold fries. I asked for a carafe of water, but no water glass was brought. The staff was overwhelmed and disorganized. The dining room was advertised as air-conditioned; it wasn't, there were only fans. Avoid at all costs.

A warm welcome and well-balanced cuisine. I had a guinea fowl leg in sauce with mashed potatoes—excellent—and my husband had a piece of beef with fries; it was a perfect meal. We'll definitely go back when we're next in Bourges.

A lovely place to spend a pleasant time and, above all, to eat well. A diverse menu, but not so overwhelming that you don't know what to choose; generous portions, original dishes, all homemade. The staff are warm, respectful, not intrusive, and simply delightful. And especially those in the kitchen and serving during the heatwave—you have my utmost respect, even under normal circumstances, for doing your job in such conditions. The misting system on the terrace as you leave was a nice touch. Thank you for everything.
