LA GOURMANDISE

On July 14, 2026, I decided to try this bakery after its recent renovation. I ordered four individual pastries and viennoiseries. Nothing too complicated. When I got home and opened the box, there were only three items, one of which wasn't what I ordered... They've just lost a potential good customer.

Hello, congratulations on the new shop, but I think that before redecorating, the organization should have been reviewed. Every time at 8:20 am, there are no more croissants, and I think refresher training is more than necessary for the saleswomen (young brunette with glasses, young blonde, like the more experienced ones). No smiles, very slow, zero welcome... it doesn't reflect all the investment you've made! You need to react, and quickly! It's a shame; in the meantime, we'll go elsewhere where a smile is essential.

We went there for the trompe-l'œil cakes, but they were sold out. So we tried a strawberry cake and a pistachio cookie. The strawberry cake lacked fruit and had a strong yogurt flavor, and the cookie supposedly had chocolate on it, but it tasted neither of chocolate nor pistachio. The savory option looked interesting, but we didn't try it. The saleswoman wasn't very talkative. In short, the trompe-l'œil cakes might be good, but go early, otherwise it's not worth the trip.

I went there this morning for breakfast and what can I say! Perfect! I had a latte and a peanut trompe l'oeil. DELICIOUS! Stylish and modern decor. Friendly staff. We ended up buying five more trompe l'oeil cakes because they were so beautiful and delicious. I will definitely be back.

A warm welcome, clean interior, a variety of choices. We ordered four trompe l'oeil chocolates (peanut, lemon, pecan, and hazelnut). The combination was simply incredible, not too sweet, just right. The chocolate shells were thin, making them easy to eat. We especially loved the hazelnut one. We also had a chicken paprika sandwich, which was generously filled and well-distributed—you could eat without spilling. I highly recommend it!

I'm a customer again and I really like the new look of your bakery... a lot of thought has gone into your pastry section... I'm looking forward to discovering the pizza corner....

The decor is very nice, but the pizzas are made with bread dough that's undercooked around the edges. All pizzas are €15. They don't serve alcoholic drinks, which isn't a problem. For drinks, you pay at the bakery, and for pizzas, you either pay at the bakery or, if you're paying in cash, at a till that doesn't work! The staff told us it's not a pizzeria, but that's what it says on the front of the building 🤔

Extremely disappointed since the bakery's renovations. I came a day ago: the young sales assistants didn't say hello despite my three attempts. At 8:20 am, they were out of mini pastries and told me they'd been open since 6:00 am, basically implying I should have come earlier. What baker doesn't re-bake based on demand? They don't even make cream puffs!!!... I'm really disappointed; the decor isn't everything. And the prices are ridiculous—it's like a discount bakery with less service, fewer choices, and less friendliness! Luckily, the more experienced staff are fantastic.

I ordered salt-free bread for today. I was told the bakers simply hadn't made it! Perfect!

Never disappointed. The bread is good, the sandwiches are generously filled, and the pastries and viennoiseries are excellent!
